o   I quickly find out that 100%/100% is very impossible.

o   The hoods really mess up my hair and make my eyes puffy.

o   I think I can wear TWO, 90% suits all of the time. That should make up for the 10% that covers my head and the 3 hours designated for bathing.

Follow my logic:

  1. Terminology:`

    1. "HITEz" = Hour In ToTal Enclosure. It is an 'imperfect standard of measure' of Rubberist experience.

    2. "skinsuit" = the suit worn closest to the skin.

    3. "100%c" = 100% body covered.

    4. "100%t" = 100% of the Time

    5. "100z"  = 100 HITEz  (abbrev. as "z" E.g.  'you earned 13.2z today.'

  2. Assume that you have a Quota obligation to be the equivalent of 100% covered in latex 100% of the time.

  3. How many HITEz does wearing three 100% coverage suits earn?

  4. Assume all suits are 100% coverage (or "100%c ") with exemption for a 'minimal, inconspicuous breathing mechanism'.

  5. ONE suit @100% for one hour  earns 1 HITEz. ("Hours In Total Enclosure")

  6. TWO 100% coverage suits worn for 1 hour:

    1. one 100% suit X 1 hour = 1z

    2. one 2nd  Layer, 100% coverage suit is 50% X 1 hour = 0.5z

    3. THEREFORE, wearing two 100% suits layered for 1 hour earns 1.5.

  7. THREE  100% coverage worn for 1 hour:

    1. one 100% suit X 1 hour = 1z

    2. one 2nd layer, 100% coverage suit is 50% X 1 hour = 0.5z

    3. one 3rd layer, 100% coverage suit is 33% X 1 hour = 0.33z

    4. THEREFORE, wearing Three 100% suits layered for 1 hour earns 1+0.5+0.33 = 1.83z

  8. We need to compensate for 3 hours out-of-rubber (OoR) every day for two 1.5 hour bath breaks, which are crucial.

    1. Daily Quota = 24z.  Subtract 3 hours of bath breaks = 21 hours

    2. 21 X1.83z  = 38.43  (That is, If you wore three 100%coverage suits (layered), for 21 hours, it would produce this massive block of surplus HITEz.)

    3. 38.43z - 24hrs = earns a 14.43z surplus!  That's more than 1/2 of a day you can be OoR and still be be within that day's Quota.

    4. Wearing three layers of 100% coverate layers for just over 1/2 day (i.e. 13.1 hours)  would earn the daily Quota of 24z.

Let's try that again, but this time all of the suits will be 90% coverage. I.e. cover from neck down.

  1. Three 90% coverage suits:

    1. The 1st layer, your skinsuit, is 90%coverage X 1hr = 0.9z per hour

    2. the 2nd outer suit  would be only 50%c, so, it would be 0.5 X 0.9 X 1 hour = 0.45z per hour

    3. the 3rd  outer suit would be  0.33 X 0.9 x1 = 0.297z per hour

    4. So, wearing three 90%c suits for 1 hr = 0.9 + 0.45 +0.297 = 1.67z per hour

    5. 24z/1.67 = 14.57 hrs.  That means that if you wore three 90%c suits for 14.57hrs, you would satisfy the daily 24z Quota requirement.

There ya go.   Put your three 90%c suits on at 8am and take them off at 22:30 (14.5 hrs) to earn your Quota.
